(part of her felt a tinge of relief at there being no response, maybe she’s safe. she’d hope for that much. texas had even contemplated asking for them to replace the jacuzzi with something else, she rather play pool than, say, enter into a hot tub with someone. but that wasn’t on the table originally whenever the wolf had been trying to earn chips for herself as a means of avoiding more issues. by now, she’s smoking again. lit cigarette hanging out of her mouth and head tilted back into her sofa with her gaze fixated on the ceiling, she’s half hoping that the other woman also got tempted by another offer. surely she’d have a few, right? she’s good-looking and texas can admit that. women like her are bound to get many offers from the freaks in this resort, not even the players like them alone who are stuck in this hellhole as she’s often called it to herself.
it’s only the forceful knock that causes her to almost jolt, fuck. she should have expected that. the other woman found her room number. she’s reluctant on letting her in, if not for her recollection of what can happen if she didn’t? she even might not have, but eventually the lock clicks open and there she is. the first lone wolf of this resort, dressed casually in gym shorts and a tank top as she usually would for when she’s relaxing. the aesthetic from what she could edit was an interesting one, though. black and blue colors, a mix of classic film noir mobster and modern day gangster about what pops out. even tied together by what looks to be her window’s hologram showing a constant dreary rain.
is it bad that she’s hoping to not get a repeat of their first meeting? probably, probably not. but the door is open and there is that jacuzzi off in a corner. untouched, but taken care of. close to another set of windows that she changed, the bar she mentioned did look more used. even her kitchen does, she doesn’t always drink but she does typically cook her meals when given that chance. nothing more than that before the wolf takes up her spot on the sofa again. not a word, not a single word while she dips her cigarette into the ashtray until:)

(she didn’t need much permission, texas seems to have caught on that stopping her would have mixed results. her attention shifts away, not putting anymore thought into the conversation. she can use it for now, but texas does intend to replace it when given chance. she’s only not as of now because the wolf doubts she can put in a request on short notice. well, that and again, she would rather save her chips for more important things. she can deal with a repeat visitor wanting to use it until she inevitably replaces it with something that she’d use instead of a hot tub. she’s not even sure why she was given it, it was clear she wouldn’t be using it.
the thoughts aside, now that caught her off guard in how she blinks. excuse her? “fluffy” and “adorable”? were it anyone else, she might have brushed it off, but coming from this woman? she’s not sure if that counts as good or not while she puffs out smoke again. that cigarette is going to be her lifeline with any others resting in her pack. dear god. not the greatest of ways to spend a night. getting surprised by the woman that had caught her, and more than that. but it’s better than nothing? she did typically spend those nights alone, these nights alone, while staying off in her own little corner.)

(an old habit, but a habit she can’t quite let go of. the resort did have a funny way of maintaining these terrible vices, texas just so happened to have more interesting ones. sometimes it can be used to even tell when she’s having a suit flare up. not right now, thankfully, right now was more because she’s been dealing with more frustrations as of late from certain aspects forced upon them. that and missing her swords, she really wants to find them again. find something again that belonged to her.)
[ Once Jingyi spots the hot tub, she shamelessly goes for it. With a wave of her hand, she gets a feel for the machine's workings and lets her hand run along the side of the jacuzzi with interest. ]
