The first more, the first causes them to drag me out often. Sometimes it can go unnoticed more since I can blend in well enough to the background more than anywhere else.

It does sound like you have lovely friends if they drag you out when you're lonely. Sometimes a person being a little extra forceful makes all the difference.
Given, this place is....more open about sex and the like, dancing sounds like it might turn into pole dancing and lap dances. Or too much bump and grind.

but, enough about that. did she feel less lonely? honestly, that's the struggle. she does have people she likes in the resort, people that did encourage her a little to break out of her shell. it varied in success, which isn't unusual, but texas does appreciate them and care about them.)
