SUITABILITY: as a person, texas never wants to fall back into certain behaviors from her old life. she finds it difficult occasionally to be what can be deemed “normal”; from talking about death like it’s a natural occurrence and even frightening one of her friends by speaking about the actions of other mafioso whenever they feel disrespected. since before she was no longer a made-woman, i like to believe she did lose her virginity and sexually she was active, the issue is that it was nothing in the sense of it being a healthy sexual relationship.

eventually texas had put everything behind her and changed during a seven year timespan where she made friends with another beast lord named the emperor who took her in, offered her a job even as an armed courier under the company name penguin logistics where she made new friends. unfortunately for texas, who had spent those years avoiding anything to do with her past, it wound up being time for that deal she made to be completed when zaaro came to tell her to return. what happened next was she had spent quite some time not only fighting another proxy war set about, but also dealing with more complicated things that had risen up from her return.
not only did it not go the way as planned in all cases, but texas had wound up deciding after that she would stay to help her newfound friends who wished to change nuova volsinii itself.

as part of her arts from what can be explained, texas has the ability to rain down swords on others through something called a "sword rain". the specifics of it is that she's prone to using it only as a necessity because this ability is quite destructive. it isn't fake swords after all, it's real swords that use genuine heat as a means of cutting. all capable of burning a wound in someone that they wind up piercing into.
generally speaking i'm not sure if it might need to be be restricted into allowing her sparse uses, but it might be for the best to go that far given it can get bad were she to be using it and able to use it all the time whether it's a fight or not. it won't hinder her fully, but i do want to keep things fair.

as mentioned texas was trained in swordplay by her family in their unique style of swordsmanship. it was part of her skillset and she has only gotten more lethal since those days when she has to be. her style tends to be fast and heavy hitting; often being found dual wielding both swords she owned which are uniquely named blueberry and dark chocolate. she has a preference for making it quick over dragging it out, otherwise it starts to annoy her. she's particularly good at it whenever she has to fight, but there are times where it can be considered a pain to do such things when she can help it.

texas tends to be difficult to speak with as part of her coldness, she isn't necessarily that easy to get along with because of it either. it can cause moments in which she's misunderstood in her intentions and she's often on the receiving end of it being bad. getting her to actually speak more to people can take time because of that, although this is more on her part as a decision to keep others at arms length previously. she still has yet to stop doing it, but she does try not to if she likes a person. although there also is another problem in it where if she thinks someone is pathetic, she will say it no matter how cold she might sound. this can be seen in her calling enemies in her victory quote "weaklings" for running.

which comes to this point, texas as a person can be distrustful. she isn't prone to wearing her heart on her sleeve, she's more than willing to fight over it if she has to. but, trust is something that takes the longest to obtain from her. she finds it easier to watch her back more than let someone else do it for her as part of her years of service as a member of the texas familiga. after all, to them any mishaps were considered "just business" and it's more difficult to say if she would have trusted anyone back then to not stab her in the back. it isn't as bad now with what few people she can say she trusts, though it does little to change that she might not ever go as far as to let anyone too close.

now you would think someone with a cold demeanor like texas isn't necessarily prone to that, but she is. she can be reckless and it shows depending on what it is that's going on. for example; she ran off a chain in one of the manga works that was attached to her vehicle straight at an enemy jeep while it was driving off. nobody was behind the wheel at that point as well, texas took the chance to do it herself as a means of cutting off their leader before he could take the goods they were meant to deliver.
although it might be easier to say that she can wind up doing any sort of reckless thing, especially if others were to pressure her into doing it. she can forgo her usual cold and aloof demeanor into doing things that are out the ordinary for texas if pressed right.

texas tends to show loyalty to those she feels deserves it after her time spent in the ranks as a made-woman. her sense of trust can be all over the place, but when you have her loyalty then she'll always give it to you. this is something that can change if the trust she offers is broken in a spectacular fashion, but that does little to stop her from fighting at the side of her friends, coworkers, and anyone else that managed to reach that far out to texas. at her core, she's every bit worth that trouble of pursuing it whenever someone wants to be her friend. if anything, she'd be a support to most things that someone needs done and she'll happily do what she must.
this also leaves in her some wiggle room with talking her into things that she might not do regularly without pressuring her. she might of course still protest a little, but she will do just about anything within reason for a friend if it means that she's able to provide some manner of help. the results on if it's good or not will vary, though, due to her already odd antics from her previous occupation.

her aloofness does come with it's perks, that being that she tends to be good at going off the vibe and the impressions she's getting in whatever happens. texas can change up plans with relative ease were something to go wrong, or if something were to come up. her best strength is that she's more than capable of not letting her judgment be clouded as a means of things going along smoothly. she's one of the best people on terms of calling the shots on the field when her friends are incapacitated, or if it falls on her to act fast before something else goes wrong as a means of helping those around her.
this is also useful in other ways since she can act as a buffer to keep others calm, sometimes at her own expense were they to decide to take advantage of it through other means. most of the time when that happens she isn't afraid to drag out her friends or others over that.

as unsurprising as it could be due to her job, texas is a responsible sort of woman. she will deliver packages safely and on time with ease. penguin logistics will do all kinds of deliveries, admittedly, all of it depends on the cargo whether it's simple things or people. not the illegal sort, mind you, they aren't that sort of company. texas as part of it does her part with ensuring that raiders or any manner of thieves do not get their hands on whatever it is she's transporting. this tends to transfer over into other things like making sure that she isn't held up by some manner of issues going on without saying a word, keeping her space organized typically, and even her own self care in most typical situations.
because of it, she tends to be seen as a reliable person. it doesn't matter what needs done; as long as it isn't something too terrible, she'll take care of it. be it violently or not, she does hold herself to a higher standard than most in her position might. texas does pride herself in such things. as odd as the idea of a made-woman being this meticulous in her already unusual job change, amongst other things, she does prefer it.

as part of the black suits, I do believe this might suit texas due to her self control being another thing that can be hard to break. in her lore she often pressed about and taunted by an old friend and enemy who pursues her in a desire to fight to the death. as well as a desire to bring back the "old" texas. texas herself has always ignored that side of what she once was, how she used to be even because she does not wish to return to being how she used to be in the past. she could be considered a lot more prone to thinking about those moments, as well as prone to running away before from them by telling herself that it isn't her problem any longer. if given the opportunity or the chance to that is, she would avoid it and simply pretend that she has other worry to about.
