Some of them were happy to trade when I mentioned that we didn't mind offering what services we could for it, as well as me offering to run things from shops to other districts in exchange.
It's different from what we're used to, too. Ace probably told you ... most of our mail is delivered by birds. Domestic ground couriers don't really exist for most countries unless they have a large Marine presence.

( by the end of the second week of august, a special delivery arrives at cellinia's door. a carefully put-together bouquet, composed of pure white flowers - calla lillies, camellias, carnations - that, as elysia had found, symbolize platonic love, fondness, and a touch of i think you're cute - the perfect gift for a friend she holds close to her heart. the true decor, however, comes in the form of a ruffled dark blue feather; perfumed, beautiful, so precious to the touch. one of the many that had appeared on elysia's body through her months in karteria, gifted for cellinia to remember her by.
and with it, of course, a note written in cutesy handwriting: )
Hi, Cellinia βͺ Are you surprised? A beautiful flower bouquet, carefully put together just for you. The flowers of Karteria are unlike anything I have seen, so specially unique. what elysia would find is a photo: the image of her bedroom, the bouquet and feather that now rests in her bedroom. on her nightstand. it isn't easy being the sole person from back home here, but she didn't think too much about it with what few people who do care about her being so willing to do these things as a reminder that she isn't as alone as she believes.
that maybe next time, she might visit elysia or invite her out again, even if she might call it a date.)
